The first e-book to be published by Clarity Strategic: Stress-Free Entrepreneurship.
Of course there are sources of stress in the life of any start-up, and these are felt by all entrepreneurs. But they do not have to master us, nor do we have to let them manage our companies in our place.
This e-book, a 48-page PDF, sells for $10. It'll make a great gift for the entrepreneur in your life - and it's not so bad for you either! Buy it here!
Here are a couple of excerpts:
There is no such thing as an unhappy customer. For our purposes, there are only "happy customers" and "someone else's customers." Here are some of the ways that we make them "someone else's customers":
- broken promises
- commitments we make that we (or others) can't (or won't) keep
(from Customer Service)
I once had an argument with an office-mate. He was dissatisfied with the work he was doing. I tried to counsel patience. He said that the work we were doing was simplistic, compared to what could be done in our discipline. (Only what was said was a bit crude. Do I have to describe it in more detail?) I took the remark personally. So I escalated the argument, finally saying he never did anything around there anyway.
Well, he threw his coffee mug at me. He broke a picture of my (now ex-) wife and methat was on my desk. (I was lucky he didn't hit me.)
(from Conflict)
So what will you do? Will you adapt to the reality of the situation, and be ready to make your point in seven seconds? Or will you allow opportunity to escape you because you need the full two minutes? The decision alone is a source of stress; but the regret for lost opportunity will follow you everywhere. I believe you should take the chance – and the stress associated with it – and make your point in seven seconds. That's enough time for a single sentence. Once you make that decision, then you craft the sentence.
(from What's In It For Me?)
And here's what readers are saying:
I enjoyed the book, and found it to be fascinating. There's a good balance of content that moves smoothly between topics. There are relevant examples, well structured sections, and easy-to-read formatting. - Elie Kochman
