What is Quality?

Nobody knows. :-)

Quality is that aspect of your product or service which the customer most wants. For this reason, your customers know more about quality than you do. You cannot define it apart from your customers. Guaspari puts it this way:

They're not buying a product. They're buying your assurances that their expectations for that product will be met. And you haven't really got anything else to sell them but those assurances. You haven't really got anything else to sell but quality.
